Dan Nutu, Product & Systems Engineer at MindVision Studio

I build products and the infrastructure that keeps them running.

Who I am

I’m Dan Nutu, founder of MindVision Studio. Trained in Cloud Administration and DevOps & Software Engineering, and currently studying cybersecurity, I build products while taking responsibility for their deployment, data and operation.

My production experience is primarily in full-stack development, Cloudflare, Docker, data and CI/CD. Terraform and Kubernetes are practised in projects; IAM, SIEM and pentesting are part of my current course of study.

My background

My path here is a little unusual. I started out in the restaurant industry, working my way up to floor manager, before retraining in finance and co-founding a wealth-management firm. A governance disagreement between partners eventually led to its closure, which gave me the time to return to something I had practised as a hobby for years: Linux, virtualization, networking and home automation.

AI tools then let me turn that personal practice into real products. I went on to complete formal training in software engineering, DevOps and cloud to structure my method. Today I work as a Product Engineer: I design the product, direct its implementation with agents, and stay responsible for the architecture, the testing and the outcome.
